GO Unlimited was honored to present and participate in Tourism & Outdoor Recreation Day at the New Mexico State Capitol Building, and the day was a true success.

Organized by the New Mexico Tourism Department, the event brought together leaders from across the tourism and outdoor recreation sectors to recognize the critical role these industries play in New Mexico’s economy, culture, and quality of life. The Capitol was filled with energy as partners gathered to share ideas, build relationships, and advocate for the future of outdoor recreation and tourism statewide.

The event featured engaging presentations from the New Mexico Office of Outdoor Recreation and a vibrant performance by the National Institute of Flamenco, highlighting the unique blend of culture and outdoor experience that defines New Mexico.

GO Unlimited was proud to exhibit alongside an impressive group of partners, including Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta, New Mexico State Parks, Ski New Mexico, Indian Pueblo Cultural Center, and many others representing communities, cultural institutions, and destinations from across the state.

For GO Unlimited, the day reinforced how essential collaboration is to expanding accessible outdoor recreation. Conversations with partners focused on inclusive infrastructure, adaptive recreation, and the economic and social benefits of ensuring outdoor experiences are available to people of all abilities.

Tourism & Outdoor Recreation Day provided meaningful opportunities to strengthen partnerships, share our work, and align efforts around a shared vision for New Mexico. We left inspired, energized, and grateful to be part of such a dynamic and collaborative community working to move the state forward together.
