For veterans, seniors, families, and individuals with disabilities, safe and functional pedestrian routes are essential for everyday mobility and community participation.

Our team conducted detailed field assessments of sidewalks, curb ramps, crosswalks, and pedestrian features. We evaluated sidewalk width and surface conditions, cross slopes, trip hazards, curb ramp transitions, detectable warnings, signal timing, and push button access. The focus was not only ADA compliance, but real world usability for people navigating the corridor with wheelchairs, walkers, and other mobility devices.

Anthropopulus brings strong planning and design expertise. GO Unlimited contributes specialized experience in ADA standards and adaptive mobility. Together, this partnership ensures assessments move beyond documentation and toward practical implementation.

The goal is clear: identify barriers, prioritize improvements, and support infrastructure upgrades that strengthen safety and connectivity. Accessibility benefits far more than one population group. It supports veterans, people with disabilities, seniors, parents with strollers, and anyone traveling on foot.

Projects like this reflect GO Unlimited’s commitment to expanding inclusive access across both natural and built environments in New Mexico. When pedestrian infrastructure works for everyone, the entire community moves forward together.

GO Unlimited recently partnered with Anthropopulus to conduct pedestrian accessibility assessments along Louisiana Boulevard in Albuquerque, from the New Mexico Veterans Memorial to the Cesar Chavez Community Center.
