It was a privilege to share how adaptive equipment, inclusive design, and cross-sector collaboration are unlocking new opportunities for individuals with disabilities.<\/span><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"259\" data-end=\"585\"><strong data-start=\"259\" data-end=\"275\">GO Unlimited<\/strong>, rooted in New Mexico, highlighted trail modifications and specialized programs that enable residents with disabilities to enjoy the state\u2019s diverse landscapes. Our message resonated with state leaders who recognized that accessible recreation isn&#8217;t a luxury\u2014it\u2019s a shared value that enhances quality of life for all.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"587\" data-end=\"843\"><strong data-start=\"587\" data-end=\"614\">National Ability Center<\/strong> shared success stories from Utah, where partnerships with school districts and local governments have created curriculum-integrated outdoor experiences for youth with disabilities, helping develop physical skills and confidence.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"845\" data-end=\"1066\"><strong data-start=\"845\" data-end=\"869\">Colorado State Parks<\/strong> illustrated how universal-design upgrades\u2014from accessible campsites to tactile interpretive trails\u2014have broadened park access, resulting in wider community engagement and stronger tourism numbers.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1068\" data-end=\"1364\">Our collective presentation underscored how collaboration amplifies impact\u2014layering expertise from non\u2011profits, state agencies, advocates, and policymakers. We heard strong interest from governors and their teams in forging regional frameworks to secure federal funding for inclusive programming.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1366\" data-end=\"1729\">Looking ahead, our conversation set the stage for concrete action plans: multi-state grant proposals, pilot demonstration sites, and shared best-practice forums.
